Description

Grape varieties : Chardonnay
   
Terroir / under soil : West Vallée de la marne/ Clay-marl basements, covered with chalk composed of calcite granules and fossils of belemnites (secondary era molluscs).
 
Type of viticulture: Sustainable (reasoned) viticulture, biocontrol.
 
Harvest and vinification: Manual harvest, first juice exclusively (cuvée), double fermentation (alcoholic and malolactic), aging in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks.
 
Ageing / Disgorgement: 36 months on lees, disgorged in June 2019.
 
Dosage : Extra-brut, 0,4 g/l.
Colour : Lemon yellow with bright reflections.
 
Flavour : The nose is floral, also yellow fruits, grapevine peach and citrus.
 
Palace : Melted aroma, on red fruits.
 
Serving temperature: Between 8 and 10° C.
 
When to drink it ? To drink now and until 2027.
